The Minister of Environment and Climate Change of the Republic of Somaliland welcomed a delegation from the German Development Bank (KfW) to his office for a strategic meeting aimed at reinforcing cooperation between the two sides.

Discussions centered on accelerating ongoing environmental projects, conserving natural resources, enhancing climate resilience, and supporting communities in adapting to the impacts of climate change.

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to expanding their partnership and implementing effective programs that promote sustainable development, protect Somaliland’s environment, and strengthen the country’s capacity to address climate change challenges.
